Web Liaisons

Web liaisons are the College’s content creators and editors for one or several departments. They need to know how to make and keep the pages they manage accessible. Each web liaison is required by law to participate in web accessibility training annually. If you fail to complete the web accessibility training by November 1st, you may lose your website editing privileges until the training has been completed. New liaisons should complete their training within a month of their initial web training.

If you publish PDFs on the MCC website, please also complete the “Basic PDF Accessibility” and “PDF Accessibility: Complex Tables and Forms” courses. Also, review the information about creating accessible content for tips on how to ensure that your content, including files, images, and videos, meets MCC and WCAG requirements.

For questions or issues logging into Deque University, please submit a Technology Services Support Request Ticket.

Become a Web Liaison

If you want to help make our web pages accessible and improve them in other ways, think about becoming a web liaison. Use the web liaison report to find the current liaisons in your area. Ask them and your unit leader how to become a web liaison.
