Richard M. Guon Child Care Center

The Richard M. Guon Child Care Center offers limited grants to student parents who are enrolled in courses at MCC. The child care center also offers free UPK for 3- and 4-year old children who reside in the Rochester City School District.

Child Care Council

The Child Care Council serves families in Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne counties by providing information about child care options, referrals to child care, resources for paying for child care, and other supports.

Men & Women of Excellence

Men of Excellence (MoE) is a leadership program that will provide male students of color with the skills necessary to navigate successfully inside and outside the classroom.

Women of Excellence (WoE) is a similar leadership program that provides female students of color with skills necessary to navigate successfully inside and outside the classroom. For more information about WoE, please contact Shirley Provost (sprovost@monroecc.edu).

Transportation

All students currently enrolled in at least one in-person class are eligible for U-Pass. U-pass allows MCC students to access free bus transportation via RTS using their MCC student ID card. Transportation begins the first day of classes; MCC photo ID is required.
