Accreditation
MCC is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Commission is a voluntary, non-governmental, institutional membership association currently serving higher education institutions in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and other geographic areas in which the Commission conducts accrediting activities.

Curricula are registered and approved by the New York State Department of Education and the State University of New York.

MCC is a member of the League for Innovation in the Community College. The League provides direction and leadership for experimentation and innovation in two-year colleges. Its members are recognized as the best community colleges in the United States and Canada.
