First Graduates from MCC’s Licensed Practical Nurse Program to be Honored at Ceremony

Participants recently completed training funded in part through the Finger Lakes Performing Provider System, are prepared to fill vital job openings amid nursing shortage

WHAT: Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, Monroe Community College President DeAnna R. Burt-Nanna, Ph.D., and community partners will honor 16 inaugural graduates from MCC’s Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program at a Wednesday ceremony on MCC’s Downtown Campus. The graduates are now prepared to take the national licensure (NCLEX-PN) exam and join the workforce full time amid a high demand for skilled healthcare professionals in Monroe County and across the Finger Lakes region.

WHERE: Fifth floor of the Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center on MCC’s Downtown Campus, 321 State St. in Rochester; parking is provided in lot AA.
