45th Annual Student Art Exhibition

May 4th through April 2, 2023

Two days before the official opening of the 45th Annual Student Art Exhibition, Kathy Farrell texted me these words at 8:46 p.m. while I was in the gallery getting ready to install the show. “Yep – been there – this is a joyful and stressful time of year.” To put together an exhibition of this magnitude is both exhilarating and exhausting at the same time. But the payoff is worth it. The celebration of the completion of another semester, and the artwork created here at MCC, is worth the long nights and early mornings spent pulling this entire thing together.

A special thank you to this year’s juror, Jose Rivera. He had a very difficult job, and he handled it with the utmost professionalism.
