Nutrition & Weight Mgmt – Part 3

Satisfying Your Sweet Tooth In this last session, we will look at various ways to incorporate sweets and desserts into your diet.  We will discuss ideas for creating desserts that are more nutrient dense and lower in calories than traditional dessert items. Some of these ideas include easy-to-make fruit-based desserts, modifying baked goods to have less fat and sugar, and selecting store bought items that can fit into an overall healthy diet.  Recipes and resources will be provided.  Participants are encouraged to share their own recipes and ideas for healthy desserts.
