Reports

  1. President Leichtner

President Leichtner, along with Vice President Romero, Chief of Staff Zin, and Treasurer Guney, attended the National Model United Nations conference from April 22nd to April 29th as members of the MCC delegation representing Mongolia. President Leichtner attended this conference in his capacity as the head delegate. President Leichtner is incredibly proud of the delegate’s hard work and looks forward to seeing what they do in the future.

  2. Vice President Romero

Vice President of Governance Romero is glad to be back, and he knows it’s been a while. He would like to thank everyone in SGA for their hard work and is happy to see everyone again. Model UN was a ton of fun, and he recommends that all at least look into it. Wednesday, April 10th, at 3:30 in the forum, will be the model un reception, where the students will talk about their experiences. He hopes everyone can make it.

  3. Vice President of Downtown McGinnis

  4. Treasurer Guney

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a peaceful and restful spring break. On Friday, March 22 – March 29, alongside her partner, Treasurer Guney served as delegates in the Committee for Achieving Gender Equality and Empowerment of Rural Women and Girls in the Model United Nations. Treasurer Guney gained a great experience that will affect the rest of my life both academically and socially. Within the diplomatic framework, they left their identities aside and communicated with people with an international identity. They have collectively embraced the ethos of collaborative engagement, understanding that cooperation surpasses conflict. Borders, once seen as barriers, have become conduits for peace and prosperity. Their mutual appreciation for exchanging ideas and collaborative ventures with diverse delegations has enriched the pursuit of a better world. It has been an honor to advocate for women’s rights, symbolizing resilience and nurturing the growth of love, hope, and humanity. On Monday, April 1st, alongside Vice-President Romero, and Office of Student Life Advisor Oriel, Treasurer Guney participated in MCC Association Finance Committee Meeting, where they reviewed the budget, discussed the Sodexo contract, senior accountant’s position, and student life fee adjustments. It is very fortunate to witness the sensitivity of other board members for students in these meetings where they represent students. On Thursday, April 4th, alongside President Leichtner, Vice-president Romero, Vice-President of Downtown McGinnis, Secretary of Governance Crimmins, and Office of Student Life Advisor Oriel, Treasurer Guney attended the MCC Association Inc Board meeting where SGA board members presented the Student Life Activities Coordinated Proposal.
