Anarchitecture Studies
In 2012 I started a series of drawings about houses built in clouds. At the time I was working on large, abstract paintings in which the forms were fragmented and in a state of falling apart and coming back together. With the house sculpture studies I’m exploring what the drawings would look like in physical form. I use segments of old work and repurposed materials in the construction of most of the pieces.
