Joanna Heatwole worked as a journalist and teacher before completing a Masters of Fine Arts at the Visual Studies Workshop. Her show at Mercer will combine her work in photography and video in one gallery installation. Her other work includes two documentaries: 330 Miles to Justice and Farm Tours. She has taught photography and video courses at SUNY Brockport/Visual Studies Workshop and the University of Rochester
