Accessible Checker in Acrobat<\/h1>\n

Similar to many Microsoft products, Adobe Acrobat also has an accessibility checker. However, this feature is only available in the Pro version. If you don’t have it, read the “Save as PDF” section in Converting Documents to PDFs<\/a> to learn how to add PDF tags to your document.<\/p>\n

  1. Prior to saving your document as a PDF, run the program’s built-in accessibility checker (if applicable).

    1. Learn more about creating accessible source documents<\/a>.<\/li>\n\t
    2. Learn more about using the accessibility checker in Microsoft Word<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\t
    3. Name your file as per MCC’s document naming requirements<\/a>.<\/li>\n\t
    4. Open your PDF in Acrobat. Click on the Accessibility tool and select “Full Check.”

      1. Click on the greater-than symbol ( > ) to the right of “Documents” to expand the results. If the Title failed, right-click on it and select “Fix.”<\/li>\n\t
