They offer assistance and referrals for emergency food, shelter, clothing, crisis counseling, substance abuse issues, employment, financial and legal issues, physical and mental health needs, and more. If you need help \u2013 just ask! Spanish-speaking tele-counselors and other translation services are available.<\/li>\n\t<li><a title=\"Opens PDF in new window\" href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/531f242de4b0467fe7ea5084\/t\/60008a6484242d20cf986877\/1610648164541\/Food+Cupboards+ES.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\">Monroe County Area Food Cupboards (PDF)<\/a>: Food cupboards help meet emergency food needs.\u00a0Each cupboard operates as a neighborhood volunteer unit covering a specific area and receives support from its local churches and funders. Each has a well-defined set of rules for eligibility, with referrals generally made through the local clergy or social agencies. For more information, please do a Google search with the keywords\u00a0\u201cMonroe county area food cupboards\u201d and\/or call 2-1-1 to find a food pantry or one of the food access programs near you.<\/li>\n\t<li><a title=\"Opens external link in new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ny.gov\/services\/apply-snap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\">Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)<\/a> may be a longer-term support food support option, if you qualify.
