Section V \u2013 Campaign Practices<\/h1>\n

The following actions are strictly prohibited.\u00a0 Violations of these rules may result in candidate sanctions as specified in Section VI, Subsections D and E<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. Campaign Practices
    \nThe following are campaign practices strictly prohibited by the Elections Commission that apply to Campaigns for all elected student government positions.\u00a0 This list is not inclusive:\n\n
      \n\t
    1. Provide the Elections Commission with any false or misleading information.<\/li>\n\t
    2. Disruption of classes for campaign purposes.\u00a0 Personal classroom appearance is only authorized with advance approval of class professor.<\/li>\n\t
    3. Tampering with another candidate\u2019s publicity materials.<\/li>\n\t
    4. Use of false statements by candidates and\/or agents related to themselves or any other candidate.<\/li>\n\t
    5. Use of vulgar language and\/or negative campaigning against an opponent.<\/li>\n\t
    6. Use of candidates, agents and\/or contributed money or materials.<\/li>\n\t
    7. Use of election materials not specified under Section III, Subsection B<\/a>.<\/li>\n\t
