Welcome to the Monroe Community College professional learning website repository.

The term professional learning is used in the spirit of collaboration and acknowledgment that all who work at MCC are learners in pursuit of continuous improvement. This site is intended for full and part-time faculty, as well as administrators, advisors, and all support staff roles that are essential to address the comprehensive needs of a diverse student body.

This “living” website will be continually updated based on the professional learning opportunities at the college, and the aim is to provide all who work at MCC with a “one-stop shop” for professional learning materials. Users will also be able to track the sessions they have interacted with to create a reference list. All who use the site are encouraged to reflect on their learning and application of knowledge as they think about professional growth.

You will find a range of professional learning opportunities, including but not limited to writing, teaching techniques, connecting with students, technology, onboarding, career services, advising, and disabilities. Keep in mind that professional learning like advising can be far-reaching and all the materials in this professional learning site have been tagged, so the search bar will be helpful as you look for materials based on topic.
