Approximately 2,000 students are expected to be in the class of 2020.<\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">The decision to delay commencement is heart-wrenching but necessary to ensure the well-being and safety of our students, their families, faculty, staff, and the Greater Rochester community. I fully understand and share our students&#8217; disappointment over the change in plans<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">,\u201d said MCC Interim President Dr. Katherine Douglas. \u201cHowever, our students\u2019 hard work, resilience and achievements at MCC will not go unrecognized. I am committed to seeing our students experience the distinctive tradition of walking across the stage in December and celebrating with them this significant milestone in their lives.
