Although this is only a small sample size of all the incredible graduates this year, we hope that it gives everyone a chance to see through the eyes of students how valuable of an experience it is to attend MCC. My dad is an engineer, and he\u2019s always encouraged me to think critically and pursue a career that blends innovation with purpose. My uncle is a surgeon, and seeing his dedication to helping others through medicine made me passionate about health care and biomedical engineering. Their hard work, passion, and commitment to making a difference have shaped the goals I\u2019m pursuing today.<\/p>\n<p><em>Veronica<\/em>: What are your plans after graduation?<br \/>\n<em>Hajer<\/em>: After graduation, I plan to transfer to a four-year university to continue my studies in biomedical engineering. I\u2019m especially interested in prosthetics and assistive technology and hope to contribute to innovations that improve people\u2019s quality of life.<\/p>\n<p><em>Veronica<\/em>: What was your favorite memory from your time at MCC?<br \/>\n<em>Hajer<\/em>: One of my favorite memories was serving as the president of the Muslim Student Association and also the Secretary of Student Government. It gave me the opportunity to create a welcoming space for students, foster interfaith collaborations, and celebrate diversity on campus. That experience helped me grow as a leader and connect with so many amazing people.<\/p>\n<p>Veronica: Why would you recommend MCC to other students?<br \/>\n<em>Hajer<\/em>: MCC provides a strong academic foundation, supportive faculty, and countless opportunities to get involved. Whether you&#8217;re just starting out or finding your path, it\u2019s a place where you can grow both personally and academically.<\/p>\n<p><em>Veronica<\/em>: What advice would you give to prospective students you wish someone would have given to you?<br \/>\n<em>Hajer<\/em>: Don\u2019t be afraid to ask questions or seek help. It\u2019s okay to feel unsure sometimes, especially if you&#8217;re adjusting to a new environment. The professors are so passionate about their job and supportive. MCC helps you grow.<\/p>\n<p><em>Veronica<\/em>: What advice would you give to prospective students you wish someone would have given to you?<br \/>\n<em>Allannah<\/em>: My best piece of advice would be to connect with your professors, get to know them, and let them know you.
