MCC is one of the first colleges to be reviewed under the new 14th Edition of the Middle States Standards, launched in 2023. One major update? Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is now embedded across all 7 standards, making inclusion a central part of how we define excellence. Here\u2019s a quick snapshot of the 7 standards guiding our Self-Study:<\/p>\n

  1. Mission & Goals \u2013 Are we living our mission and meeting community needs?<\/li>\n\t
  2. Ethics & Integrity \u2013 Are we acting with fairness, honesty, and transparency?<\/li>\n\t
  3. Design & Delivery of the Student Learning Experience \u2013 Are our programs designed to foster meaningful learning?<\/li>\n\t
  4. Support of the Student Experience \u2013 Are we meeting students\u2019 academic and personal needs?<\/li>\n\t
  5. Educational Effectiveness Assessment \u2013 How do we know learning is happening, and how do we improve it?<\/li>\n\t
  6. Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement\u2013 \u00a0Are our resources aligned with our priorities?<\/li>\n\t
  7. Governance, Leadership, and Administration \u2013 Do our leadership structures support student and institutional success?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
