SUMMARY:Carbohydrates – Fact vs. Fiction
DESCRIPTION:Carbohydrates – Fact vs. Fiction with Michelle Bartell\nSeparating Science from Myth to Empower Your Nutrition Choices\n\nCarbohydrates are often at the center of heated debates in health\, wellness\, and diet culture. DESCRIPTION:Friday\, November 21 – Dinner and A Play – 9 to 5 the Musical \n\n\n Dinner: 5:30 pm North Atrium\n Play: 7:30 pm MCC Theatre\n\nEnjoy a night of theatre starting off with a free dinner with your colleagues!  Employee Wellness is partnering with VAPA to host a free dinner for employees before the Friday evening performance of the MCC Fall Play performed by MCC students.  And you can bring one guest age 17 or older at no charge!  Plus enjoy the Mercer Gallery too.  Don’t miss free food\, time with friends \, family and colleagues …and supporting our students! \nThis year’s play is “9 to 5 The Musical” based on the hit movie in 1980 starring Dolly Parton\, Lily Tomlin\, and Jane Fonda.  Set in the late 1970s\, it is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge against their egotistical\, conniving boss.  For extra drama\, we encourage attendees to dress in their best 80s look – big hair and shoulder pads welcome!!! \nRSVP for the dinner. Space is limited so don’t wait!  RSVP deadline is Monday\, November 17. If bringing a guest\, please RSVP for them as well.  \nA Coffee Break Raffle! \nA fun raffle related to the play will support the Mary P. Nolan Scholarship Fund. This year’s theme is your 9-5 coffee break. Enter to win a coffee-themed basket along with a fun piece of art donated by MCCs own Sue Greipp from Student Accounts.  The basket will include coffee break goodies including a single service coffee pot\, k-cups\, gift cards and more! Raffle Tickets will be sold at the dinner and at the Open Enrollment Session on Wednesday\, November 12 at noon in Building 8-200 on Brighton Campus.  Tickets start at just $1! \nTickets for the play are priced as follows: \n\n\n MCC Student (ID required)  $8\n MCC Faculty and Staff ((ID required) $10\n General Public $12\n\nTickets can be purchased at the door\, online through OvationTix or by scanning the QR code below.
