This event is sponsored by the Wellness Council.\n\nJoin us for a relaxed\, interactive event where you can walk around exploring posters highlighting different mindfulness strategies to help us reduce stress and live more intentionally. Each poster presents a simple technique for incorporating mindfulness into daily routines. As you move from poster to poster\, you can reflect on the strategies and discuss ideas with others.\n\nLight snacks and refreshments will be available so you can pause\, chat\, and connect.\n\nPlease complete this brief survey to let us know you will be attending and see below for frequently asked questions.\n\nWe hope to see you there!\n\nFAQ’s about Mindful Tools for Modern Life Poster Walk on May 1st from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Monroe A/B\n\n 	Is there a formal program for the two hours?\nNo. Come late\, leave early as your schedule allows. Stay as long as you like.\n 	What can we expect?\nThis is an informal opportunity to talk about mindfulness strategies with MCC staff\, faculty\, administrators\, and students. Suggestions for your time: sign in\, take a journal\, have some delicious snacks\, walk the gallery of strategies\, try some finger labyrinths\, talk with others\, listen to music\, enjoy!\n 	Are we going to meditate?\nNot formally. We will meet on Zoom every Wednesday that classes are in session from 2:15 to 2:45 pm. Join us for a learning-filled event supporting our winged neighbors and the native small mammals\, reptiles\, and amphibians that share our ecosystem.\n\nThe adventure begins with a guided tour of the Wild Wings Birds of Prey facility\, where you’ll learn about the incredible birds that call the center home. After the tour\, enjoy two hours at the Nature Center with opportunities to meet some animal ambassadors up close.\n\nSnacks and pizza will be provided while you connect with colleagues and learn ways to support local wildlife. While you’re there\, you can also explore the nearby Bird Song Trail and Fairy House Trail\, both located in the same area.\n\nRegistration is required\, so reserve your spot and come celebrate our wild neighbors! If bringing a guest(s)\, please fill out the registration for each attendant.
